tranny issue HELP please
so ive got a 59 Edsel with the 292 and a two speed auto trans. trans shifts great..takes gear great..fluid is nice and clean, problem is,,it's spitting fluid back out via the filler tube...what am i looking for to stop that? anyone help? Never seen this before. Thanks in advance

the breather screen is pluged causing it to build up pressure.

I think he means the air vent is plugged. The air vent is located near the top of the trans case and it has a cap on it. The vent can be removed with a wrench and soaked in solvent and blow out with compressed air. Then re-install the vent and it should be okay.

Does this happen just after start or is it more or less continuous?
