Default 36 Fordoor Glass Replacement

I need to replace the driver door glass in 36 Humpback Sedan. Can anyone give
me some info on how to best remove the existing glass in the door? What I need
to know is how to get the glass out once I've disconnected the regulator from
the bottom channel as.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

32Bee - I wrote this post a few years back. Could be helpful to your situation. This was written to document the window install, but could be useful for removal as well.

Thanks to the both of you. It looks to me like it should be fairly non problematic especially
considering I've had some recent practice on another early Ford I own which doesn't have
sliding front windows.

With the fore-aft sliding windows, where the bottom glass channel is mounted to the new piece of glass is critical. Only about 1/4”-1/2” fore-aft adjustment at the regulator. Before removing the bottom glass channel from broken glass, carefully note distance from front /rear edge of old glass.
