Default 1941 Ford pickup floor versus 1935-1937 and 1938-1939 mounting location

Ran into a issue mounting a 1941 ford truck cab. Floor and chassis is original and the wood mounting blocks are the correct finger jointed style.

All of the bolts fit except for the 2 that are on the front corners of the seat riser. Position C on the directions.

Bolt kit is a reproduction for 1935 to 1941 ford pickups.

Was there a change in the floor at some point? The cab is original and not a later 1942 to 47.

I have another all original 1941 pickup that i took the bolts out of and measured. The repops are 3-1/2" and the original are 4".

The repops are just long enough to get through the frame but cant get a nut started. Nothing is buckled or bent. The cab was loose from the chassis when i got it and the original bolts were all missing.

In position C on 1935-37 and or 1938-39 cabs, is the floor stepped up like it is on the 1941 shown? If it were flat that would make up the difference in length.

Of the 6 ford trucks we have, all are 1940 and 1941 and have the floor like the 1941 im putting.back together now.
