Default Model A Site

Back in the summer there was a thread about I think car shows and someone posted their club site showing the cars and also had a page of cartoons. It may have been from Australia or NZ. I copied the cartoon page only to have a damn cat pee all over it. At the bottom of the page I ss http:/fordsa. homestead.com/cartoons.html but can't get it to come up. Any help wwill be greatly appreciated.

Cats are great, and the best way to get rid of mice.

The outdoor cat who adopted us and lives on our deck leaves her "rent" at our back door. 101 mice, 6 chipmunks, 1 mole, and 1 bird have been delivered since she has been with us.

That's OK. I hear the feeling is mutual!

BTW I think cats are just as smart as dogs, but unlike dogs, they just don't care about pleasing humans.

I HATE Cats. Around our parts we have hundreds, if not thousands of feral cats. There are laws to not let dogs run wild...but the neighbors don't give a s... about letting pussycat out to run the neighborhood and pee in our garden and flower beds. AND eat the songbirds and bunnys! See, we also have some rabid raccoon hereabouts, so it's probably only a matter of time till pussy comes back inside the house infected, putting them and their families at risk too! Nothing good about letting a pet animal run wild. Done preaching now!

I guess my opinion was shaped during my motorcycle riding days. No cyclist, walker, or runner has ever been chased and threaten by a cat. Thousands have not only been threatened, but bitten by dogs. After almost getting in an accident on my old Honda 500-Four (picture-right after I repainted it) when chased off the road by a dog, my dislike for them started. I don't hate them, but I can see why there are laws to keep them under control.

BTW if a cat is let out to run free and cause neighborhood problems, they are not feral, they just have inconsiderate owners.

Not necessarily true. Once you leave the cat out to run, on a regular basis then if not neutered they meet the feral cats and have a party. Please stop letting cats roam. If they are out and causing neighborhood problems...then they ARE feral AND have or had, inconsiderate owners. Oh, I'm a renter and had to move, well my porch cat will get along O.K. I don't have to take it with me! It can be somebody else's we'll put out a bunch of food for it and draw rats, etc. Please, just think about it.
O.k. I'm done.

Anyone that has a cat that is an indoor/outdoor cat and doesn't have them vaccinated for rabies is just dumb. I will have to agree with you that irresponsible owners can let the situation get out of hand. It is a lot like car "collectors" or "restorers" that let their hobby get out of hand and become hoarders. Pretty soon there are 10 cars in the driveway and street devaluing all of the real estate in the entire neighborhood.

FERAL:
adjective
1.
existing in a natural state, as animals or plants; not domesticated or cultivated; wild.
2.
having reverted to the wild state, as from domestication:
a pack of feral dogs roaming the woods.
3.
of or characteristic of wild animals; ferocious; brutal.

OK. I'll give you definition #2, but not #1 or #3. I think we can agree that the reason any pet becomes "feral" is due to irresponsible owners. I still maintain that cats (feral or not) will not chase and threaten a human. Dogs will. Also the number Of times I have had to remove dog crap from my lawn is magnitudes greater than cat crap. In fact I can't say I have ever found any.

Some are dog people, some are cat people, and some don't like either.
What ever "floats your boat".
