1933-34 Ignition switch lever
Does anybody have any experience with the reproduction '33-'34 ignition switch levers sold by Mac's and CG and a couple of other places? Decent quality or a typical repro so-so? The original one is snapped off. If anyone has a decent original you'd part with let me know. Thanks.

Call Fred at southside obsolete, he has NOS ones in stock, look at his website, click on 32-34 at top, scroll to bottom, your problem is now solved.

Re: 1933-34 Ignition switch lever
Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have a web address for southside? I can't find anything other than on a "Green Sales" website where I found it stated that they recently took over the inventory of a "southside" company. Where is/was southside located? Thanks.

Re: 1933-34 Ignition switch lever
Thanks for the link Steve, it still works - unfortunately the inventory of Southside Obsolete in Faribault, Mn. is what the large company called Green Sales is stating on their webpage that they have taken over. I'll have to check it out in the morning - too bad, it looks like Southside had some pretty reasonable prices - will be interesting to see how the Green Sales prices compare!!

Re: 1933-34 Ignition switch lever
Dave, all I know is that when I did a search for Southside Obsolete, absolutely the only thing that came up was the Green Sales site, as shown, concerning their takeover of Southside's inventory. Are you saying that this Green Sales site is bogus? Does any body know anything about them?

Fred, is on here as Barnfind08 I think. He is still going strong and a great guy to deal with. I think Green Sales only purchased late model inventory from him.
I have used the Vintique reproductions on cars with good success |

Re: 1933-34 Ignition switch lever
OK, thanks for all the information - I'll be giving Fred a call. Still baffled why my search turns up nothing but the Green Sales website which only contains a mention of Southside's name, and absolutely nothing for the actual Southside Obsolete website itself. Strange.

Re: 1933-34 Ignition switch lever
I have used the reproduction and it fits well but you have to remove the cone shaped lock washer under the head of the attachment screw. The original is not chrome plated as the reproduction. The switch lever was used on other cars beside Ford. Freds levers are correct NOS.
