Aluminum carb with windows in the bowl. Not a name or number on the outside |

So much stuff, good and bad, was put out for the Model T Ford. You may never find a good answer but keep trying and you never know. Maybe it was a test carb or prototype for an advanced unit or maybe a dismal failure. I once bought an accessory oiler for a T and wondered why they found a warehouse full. After thinking about it and reading the instructions I believe it was a failure because the oil reservoir was mounted to the exhaust manifold. In use it must have cooked or even ignited the oil!

That looks like a nice little tank should be good to use somewhere. As for the carb I may look inside sometime, maybe try it on something. Just odd it’s the only no name I ever saw.

It is an "Air Friction" carb. Google "Air Friction carburetor" & scroll down to antique carburetor/ OEM. Second page shows a 20's ad.
