Default High temps in the 33

We are off away in the 33 ,and had to delay our leaving time due to some self inflected miss fires in the engine( too much grease on the points cam) so ended up leaving in the hot part of the day.temps were 37c.
We have to go up over a fairly steep climb needing 2nd gear and low at the last part.
Engine water temps went up to 95c but cooled right after cresting the top.
We are on a trip to Melbourne ,and will do about 6000 miles.
A lot cooler today 28 c.
One good thing, while we were filling up at the servo in a small town,a guy came running up to us,he said he had been trying to catch us as he had seen us in town a few times over the last year but never could catch up,he gave me a ford Lincoln and mercury service book from 1940.he had been given it in 1942.
Very nice

Lawrie, if I converted these temps correctly, 37°C = 98.6°F, 28°C = 82.4°F, and 95°C = 203°F. My 35 has seen this temperature and a bit higher for a short time when going over some steep mountains on hot days. I don't think it's that uncommon to see that peak in temperature for a shot time and then cool back down to a normal running temperature on the other side going down. This is just my opinion.
