Default 1936 flathead

City: austin
State: texas
Price: 1600

1936 ford flathead complete, trans and rear end, all complete and still in car. previus owner stated they ran and drove 6 months ago all are clean, may have been rebuilt 20 years ago. is been in a barn for 20 + years. also have complete front end.

i need front panles that go between front fender and grille

Is this abn "LB" block, stamped front of engine left side intake?

i didnt fine any lb, but i did find a 3 with a circle around it. i looked up the number off of the tranny, i says its a 1939-43 mercury. so im not shure if the motor is a 36 or newer. any help would be good

If I'm correct, the number on the tranny is for the tranny only. I don't believe there were any marks on the engine that would indicate year. However, it looks a lot like the engine in my '36 (location of water neck, etc.), which has been in the family since '42 and family knew the original owner. So, I'm fairly certain mine's original.
