1937 Pickup Interior Kit?
Been awhile since I logged on.
Life seems to get in the way of my '37 project... Anyway, I'm getting ready to get the truck put back together and have been trying to locate a complete cardboard interior kit for my project. I thought I could buy a complete stock style cardboard kit for it. But I'm having trouble finding the kit I looked at a couple years ago. I thought it was thru Mac's but they seem to have changed their website from what I remember, and now I can't locate the cardboard kit. It's not a show truck, more of a period correct farm truck, so I'd prefer the cardboard set over the ABS style. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! Don |

Re: 1937 Pickup Interior Kit?
I used the cardboard kit from Mac's in my '39. Not sure about a '37. Kit fits OK but the roof panel sags. Not sure if its the panel itself or the sound deadener I installed coming loose. If I ever replace it I'll look into the ABS kits.

Re: 1937 Pickup Interior Kit?
I went back thru my stack of old catalogs and found the set.
Just got off the phone with Mac's. Kit is ordered and 5-6 weeks lead time. I asked why the set doesn't show up online and the guy said the new system dumped a BUNCH of stuff from the website. I'm back on track! Thanks! |

Re: 1937 Pickup Interior Kit?
Good to hear! When you are ready to install start a new thread or continue an old one to get tips from Barners. Be prepared for some fitting and trimming of panels to get the best fit. Also I used some of the nails for the windlace around the top of the doorways as that is what I found removing the old headliner panel on my '39 pickup. This was an original interior I removed during refurbishment.
