Arrow Pressure testing 8BA cooling system

When testing an 8BA cooling system (49-51 flathead) what is the correct pressure to use and for how long.

Full of antifrizz/H2O
reliable (newer) radiator and heatercore
Good pressure cap
about 10 lbs from a GOOD regulator and gauge into overflow

The last time I remember someone trying to pressure check a flathead cooling system they ended up with a ballooned out top tank.
