Marvel Schrebler carburetor
I noticed gas weeping from a small hole just above the GAV adjustment and where the bowl meet on my carburetor. Where the dark spot is. The car runs fine. Could it be a float problem? Or something else? In the picture there is a bright spot on the carb. bowl that's from a light, not wet with gas.

Hi John
That small hole is the float bowl vent. You may have a weeping float valve. Here's a link to some information: http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...ght=dissection Jeff |

Re: Marvel Schrebler carburetor
That red washer on the GAV doesn't belong. The Marvel uses a seal on the GAV needle, unlike the Zenith and Tilly carbs.
Renners Corners has parts for the Marvel. |
