Yes, a rat rod is never reversible.

OK guys I just got back from checking it out, and if I had a place to put it I'd already own it! The metal is very nice, straight and rust free. The only rust I saw was a small spot in the lower rear corner of the drivers door. It has a very straight correct hood with the same length louvers, both good original engine pans, and correct oil pan with the cleanout plate. The top bows are good, but 3 are cracked. The header and top need to be replaced. The sunvisor is excellent. One shock and a couple shock arms are missing, as are the 4 links. This is one of the nicest straightest bodies to be found and I'd sure hate to see someone rod it. He didn't have a hand crank to turn the engine over, but said his dad ran it about 25 years ago. The left rear fender has a small spot of bondo on the front and by the outer lip. The left front fender has a small dent. I didn't see any welds or cracks in the fenders, or any other sheet metal. The rain gutters and other roof trim look excellent. The original upholstery should be replaced. It has 5 good wheels and a sixth with a rusty rolled bead. I lifted the rear seat and the metal is very nice. There is a powerhouse with broken bracket in the back seat as well as 2 more long generators. The original fan looks excellent.

The body number is TC 870. I'll post more pictures later, but this sure looks like a bargain to me at $3500 (his bottom price). You can call Dave at 612-919-1807.

Jim, I didn't have my camera with me, so Mike and Dave took these pictures with their phones. I have 6 more to post, but take a look at the steering wheel. Someone told Dave there were about 500 made this way. I'd never heard nor seen a backwards rim before. Also it should be brown.

Another thing nice about this car is the firewall has NO extra holes. I didn't look in the gas tank.
Glad to see it's going to a good home.

see you do have good deals in your area
If I had the room I would have bought and kept it and sold my early 29 Tudor. Mine is good but this one is a little better.

I don't think Jim will rod it.

Tom, how did you miss mine, craigslist post 4196571192: "Ford Model A 1929"
I have Pioneer Plates on mine issued about 1975 (according to MN MVD). I can start mine up and would have driven it but got one bad tube and I am to lazy to pull the bead to repair it.

Well I did not save it as I do have it for sale, I thought I could handle it but that is not the case just to wore out to try and restore it or just make it a driver. I do need to adjust the brakes and when things settle down I will get my son to push it from the pole shed back into the shop also If I still have it I will get the Patrol over to give me an OK for title.

Fantastic Tudor. The Tudor is the most user friendly of all the model A body types. The Fordor is next. Congratulations on your purchase. Here is our Tudor. This rough picture was taken 46 years ago when it had 55,000 miles on it. The Tudor looks much better now.
