Default Fuel shut off valve

Woke up this morning to fuel running out from under the car.
The shut off valve was closed and fuel was coming out from the top of the T handle.
Being fairly new to A's and not giving it much attention I thought it was the right valve, looking into now I'm wondering if the PO put a petcock meant for water on it.
It has two male ends on it, what would be the correct valve for a '31 with indent firewall?
The white tube you see is me draining the tank.20160816_111147.jpg

That's "home brew" for sure. That's the sediment bowl for an earlier car (like my 30). I believe you should have a "Cast Iron" sediment bowl?

You have the indented firewall of late 31 design. You should have a brass valve instead of the glass sediment bulb, and you should have a cast iron special sediment bulb on the carburetor. Also copper line is a real negetive for fuel line. It strees cracks and can lead to a big fire while driving.

Does anyone have a picture of the correct set-up with the sediment bowl on the carb?

When you order the new valve be sure to get the pencil filter that fits in the shut off valve. Yes, they do work with the indented tanks because I've installed a few. If the filter is loose then tin it with regular solder.
