You see the darnedest things on Craigslist
Many are good, but this one? I will be sure not to low ball him on this one. The tudor body is a gem.

Re: You see the darnedest things on Craigslist
Well you just don't find them in that condition anymore....mainly because they continued rotting away completely. I wouldn't want that on my property at any price, including free.

Ain't that the truth! I found this piece of (art) in central Indiana. Thought I read the price wrong at first.

Wow, sidhartha, I have to say it has been a long time since I have seen anything quite so ugly and useless as that "table." It doesn't work as "auto art" and surely does not work as a table. Just think, anytime you have to move that table you are lugging all those car parts too. Wow.

Re: You see the darnedest things on Craigslist
I have been playing model A's for a long time , it seems the harder it gets to find stuff the more junk shows up for a higher price! Than there comes up things like that table , and only $2700 !!!! Now I wish I had saved some of the stuff I used to haul off to the dumps , it was in better shape than those Tudor bodies. So everybody keep looking for those parts in the woods or barns = they're like gold now.

Re: You see the darnedest things on Craigslist
This is one example of. People thinking just because it's old. Means it has to be worth a bunch. I had a guy try and sell me a car about this shape. He wanted way to much and bugged me about buying it for a long time. I ended up having to hurt his feelings. An tell him it was junk. And really only good for parts.

Re: You see the darnedest things on Craigslist
I have no idea of the worth of those things where they are located, but i can tell you exactly what I would actually get for them where I am.Street rod builders or at least wanna-be rod builders would pay $900-$1000 for that bunch of iron. They may or may not ever get built, but guys here will pay that to feed their dream. They will collect a bunch of parts like that, then at some point wake up to the fact that it ain't gonna happen. Then they'll unload for next to nothing,or,if they're patient, advertise and sell to another dreamer or even to a serious builder.I find a lot of these TV show dreamers have no patience and get the,get it out of my yard attitude.I've never seen any of those TV shows,I don't have cable.(I can't see paying $25.a month to watch a TV)but I do hear lots of stories about car building TV shows.
