Default Carb leak

While I was waiting for the parade to start yesterday I smelled gas and noticed a slow drip from the carb. No drip while running. It is the Zenith replacement carb 13922. I took it apart when I got home and it looks like the viton tip on the needle is distorted a little. I installed this carb about 10 years ago and it has worked good till now. Anyhow, I can't find just a needle and seat online, just a complete overhaul kit. Does anyone know where I might get a needle and seat? The seat is stamped 35 and also has a Z on it.

Try Arizona Model A at 480-782-0266 or Renner's Corner 734-428-8424. I'll bet one or the other will have one...Ernie

There was a thread recently on the pros and cons of the viton seat.

The needle and seat that Mac's and Snyder's has is for the original Zenith and won't work in the 13922 carb. I think I might have located one. Hope I can stop the drip. If not I'll just run it out of gas whenever I park it overnight. Probably not a bad idea anyhow.
