Default Re: Quality of repro hubcaps from the 70's

I noticed the change in the revisions for 2011 elliminated the measurements of the hub cap diameter (4-1/8") and the inner dome 1-11/16". Does this mean tthe judges won't be able to determine repro caps based on the measuements? Will this mean a "benefit of the doubt" will go in the favor off the restorer? It looks like the 2011 profile illustrations have a smidgeon of a difference in width of the doned area but its only a drawing not a picture. Will they make it a requirement to remove the wheels so they can see the back side of the caps to count the tabes or look for the tradmark? OK.....I'm off my soapbox...............
