Parts for rebuild of 8BA fuel pump
I assume I've got the original pump. I'm going to have the engine out for a rebuild and want to do the fuel pump at the same time.
I'm looking for a kit to do this. Contacted Mike at 3rd gen but haven't heard back... We have stupidly high amounts of alcohol in our "gas" in this state.... I'd need valves and diaphragms compatible for that crap. |

For what ever it's worth I make my design diaphragms in house as well as gaskets etc.
No kits but I can rebuild and test your pump. Corn gas ...no sweat. Charlie ny [email protected] |

Re: Parts for rebuild of 8BA fuel pump
The average cost to rebuild a customers fuel pump is $120 plus shipping. Half the pumps
I get are from china ,currently sold by everyone. These pumps have press in valves , I do not rebuild that style since 30% fail due to loose valves.I call the customer for an OK to substitute a vintage bowl ,with his OK I proceed. A vintage pump with replaceable valves that might require minimal machine work will be less than the $120 average USUALLY. The rebuild includes testing and setup for 2 to 3 psi output. Thanks, Charlie ny |
