Default 59a Fuel pump push rod

Can not running a fuel pump push rod cause oiling/ oil pressure issues?

No oil pressure problem unless there is a hole in the bushing.

"Oiling" needs further explanation?? The lack of a rod can cause oil to be thrown up toward the breather. This can cause "oiling" of the firewall especially if the stock baffle system is not being used. However, this does not mean there is an oiling issue with the internal engine components.

Both opinions have been expresse on this forum. My experience is with an 8ba and I am not sure I can accurately measure the difference but it appears to make a very small difference. Oiling is different from your engine and mine so listen to the other posters.

Welcome to The Ford Barn RoadsterA!

I think Walt Dupont touched on your question in these three videos in which he describes the Ford Flathead V8 oil system. Worth the time; watch them in sequence.
