Default MAC's/Eckler's Came Through

I manufacture Model A parts and sell them wholesale to many retailers.

MAC's/Eckler's was a retailer that preferred to not have inventory.

When they sold parts that I manufacture, they would then order them from me and expected me to send the parts immediately to them.

Eckler's was always slow to pay invoices.

I try to not send parts until previous invoices are paid, but slipped up by sending additional parts to Eckler's.

An invoice from 08/30/2021 was not paid and I received an email from the company dissolving Eckler's.

I replied by sending a copy of the invoice along with UPS tracking that proved that the parts were delivered, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a check today from Eckler's.

all the more reason to NOT use ecklers.........

who wants to wait that long to be paid?

better to do business with the "good" vendors.

I make a very limited line of specialty parts. I sell primarily to individuals but have sold to several of the major vendors.
I would not do business with any entity that pays like that.
WHY WOULD YOU?

Called "came through" against a successful claim. Doubtless given their business condition other reverse claims might be less successful.

It will be an uphill battle for the outfit that currently has control of that conglomerate. If they follow sound business practices then they deserve a comeback welcome but only time will tell how they fare on this endeavour.

Terry, 6 months is too long to have to wait to be paid. I think you should consider yourself fortunate that they did finally pay. In my experience, when a company takes that long, they are headed for insolvency pretty soon after.

Synchro - look at the date of Terry's invoice - more like 18 months... even more inexcusable.
