Transmission scam
Hello all. Someone alerted me that an ad for a transmission I had for sale in the classifieds has been used, possibly to scam someone. The ad was for a 51 T87 transmission. The email I received stated that someone had been using the pictures from here on the Ford Barn to try to sell the transmission. I'm not sure of all the specifics but the transmission was sold around May of this year. I'm not sure how to take the ad down or even what to do about this other than say that the transmission was sold. I replied to the ad stating that it was sold. I hope this doesn't cause anyone any problems. I have had nothing but positive transactions with other members and this just makes me sick to know that people do this kind of nonsense. Thanks.

Re: Transmission scam
I would suggest that you go to your AD and then click on the
short Black REPORT bar in the lower left of your ad. That should let you tell Ryan (the Moderator) what is happening with the picture in your ad, and you would like him to remove your ad, or at least, the picture. .
