Re: 37' half ton platform truck
Those are a cool truck, but I haven't owned one yet. According to James Wagner's book 'Ford Trucks since 1905', Stake and platform models joined the ford commercial car line for 1937..... platform version Type 77-800 weighed 2700 lbs and sold for 485.00. Type 77-805 Stake weighed 170 lbs more and was 80" long and 62" wide and was priced 75.00 higher. Steel sign panels were incorporated into the 29.5" stake racks, while rear fenders were standard equipment on both models. Any ford truck enthusiast needs this book!
