Default MARC - Tool Seminar - Looking for home built solutions

I'm giving a seminar at the 2014 MARC Membership meet on Service tools for the Model A... to be held in St. Louis April 3-6th. As a tool nut myself...and recognizing all the great seminars I've attended over the years, that we've not had one to my knowledge anything on the specialty service/restoration aids/tools to be used day in and day out/ currently made, home remedies/ideas... etc... Also, being the KRW junkie I am I will also include and have there many of the KR Wilson tools that were used in the day.

Reviews/uses ... etc specifically of the current available from suppliers. From the light switch spyder tool... to the spring spreaders/hub pullers.. etc.

Where I could use some help, from the vast Model A knowledge base out there from you guys .. are ideas and tools that you have used for home built solutions. Many of you have built used some incredible items.

PM me or share with everyone whatever you can. I will have handouts at the seminar and any credits shared/permissioned to/from.
Anything you can share is appreciated .
Following the seminar I will post my documentation to FB for reference.

Many thanks!
Larry Shepard

PS... if you can, come to the Meet. Our meet slogan is "Show Me Your A" !

If you type "homemade tools" into the search box, you should come up with some of my homemade tools.

I have some pics on my shop computer taken back at one of the first Fordbarn Workshops where we set up an 8' table for "fabricated shop tools" used in Model-A restoration. We all stood around the table and guessed what the tool's purpose was, and then the fabricator explained how he made it. Quite fun!! I will send you some pix next week.

I tend to make the "special" tools from scrap, and most times don't try much for pretty, just function, and simplicity, I havn't needed much for the A, but I do have this driveshaft sleeve tool, and a video on it's use
