Default Radiator Shell upper panel replacement.

I'm thinking of changing out the upper radiator shell panel, with the stamped Ford logo, on my 1926 - 27 shell for one in better condition. There are no visible welds and I don't think Henry had super glue back then. Maybe soldered in place?? Any of you performed this surgery before? Maybe that body panel adhesive would work or solder it.

Pretty sure it was spot welded. Spot welding has been around for a lot longer than you might imagine.
