If a guy says "I'll take it", where I grew up that meant it's his and he's honor obligated to finish the deal. Doesn't mean a damn if another deal comes along, a man's word is a man's word and backing out is just plain bad manners. Glad you found another taker, charlesea, but kentuckian 631 did not deal fairly with you here.

It's the same if a seller says "It's yours" and then gets a better offer and sells it away before you can send your money.

I know this isn't supposed to be a comment thread, but this kind of thing pisses me off because it violates the trust of the site.
