Default fall is here

Hi guys, took advantage of the nice weather and took the 36 for a spin. Found a nice spot for some pictures, hope you like them.

I’m sorry but I still haven’t figured out how to post large pictures properly. willing to learn though

Guess it's time to learn how to size before posting. Keeping width at appox 7 inches and 100ppi.

Boy I love your 36’. My grandpa had a 36 as well as the 49 Mercury that I now take care of. My uncle still has the 36 that we refer to as Elenor do to the name of the lady who owned it back in the 50’s. She had a new motor put in, but whoever did the work installed a V8 but no fan since there was no room for it. Grandpa would only drive it out in the country where he didn’t have to worry about overheating. Somewhere along the ate 60’s or 70’s he bought a new 60 hp motor out of Mexico is the story I remember but never installed it. One of my jobs when I spent time at their house in the summer was to take the plugs out, squirt oil in each and turn it over several times. I really hope to sometime to either help my uncle put it together correctly or make it my own. Thanks for the memories! Keep driving them!

Most likely a link from a hosting site like Photobucket etc.

.

I just did the same thing that Trevor (MERCMAN from OZ) likely did. I just saved it to "MY COMPUTER", and then went about my regular posting process here on the 'Barn using the PAPER CLIP icon ( ) from above. That simple process USUALLY resizes the image to an acceptable size, as BELOW. DD

Hi Guys,

thanks for the friendly comments, stories and hints. Also to those who go through the trouble of reposting my pictures for better viewing.

the posting „issue“ is simple. I don’t use a computer to read and post in the forum. I use an app called „tapatalk“ on my phone and post directly from my phone album. It offers the option to post in original format (which I did so far) but also lets you resize the pics (which I will do in the future). If you bear with me, I promise I will get there :-)

Thanks pete and 51 merc for taking the time. All I saw was maple leaves. haha

Usually someone starts a ford in the fall thread. Guess this is it! Hope all post away their fords in fall! Up north here the best I can offer is a bare tree and a ford.

Love the pictures! Nice car and pictures! I hope others post pictures!

My dirty driven 36 in the garage Nov1 2021 before it gets moved to its winter hibernation place on stands.
