Thanks for posting Flop. The Rhino, I think, is a very expensive (and cool, not a criticism) "fantasy speedster" - did you see the Faultless bodied T Speedster near the Hyman tent?

The A-400 and green pick up were part of a group of cars from CT (along with a vickie and roadster '30-'31) - those guys always bring some great Model As.

Picked up a few smalls - vintage jeweled shifter knob and replated instrument panel (not repro) and saw some of the A vendors we have bought from before. Some of the smaller dealers bring a lot of original stuff which is always nice. A great time, hope to extend the stay next year!

I spoke with the owner of that green caddy speedster; he says it's a 400 cid four cylinder with a 4.5" bore. Must be a monster!

Did you guys see the chrome plated snow blower & root-tiller in the green field?

the Rhino is a chassis from an old firetruck-ALF

the A 400 was reasonable at 28k-needing some spiffing up............

I always make a point to stop to look at Hyman Ltd's cars. Always some unusual cars, like the Rhino, to look at. The Faultless was my favorite, if only because for $48,500, it would require a lot of patience and elbow grease! I'd love to see what happens with that car. - Jason

I love the pictures, I wonder how much that roadster body was? See you next year.

I think that body was $3800 but it sure needed some work, mostly inside, better to go with a Brookville body in my opinion. I think it was in the chocolate south field along the outside road. Great weather wasn't it.

Here is what it could look like--but mine is not even restored--it is largely in original condition as my grandfather found it in 1954

Which do you feel would be better, ...a new Brookville body --or a professionally restored roadster body that is in final primer?

Which is more valuable, --and why?

I would prefer a professionally restored original, if the price were the same as a new Brookville. The Brookville is nice, but not 100% correct, and I can spot one. The original is, of course, original and correct.

The blue roadster body was $4,750.00. I looked at it twice. Had a 513 area code on the sign and listed as "30-31 Model A Ford Roadster Body, Doors, Gas Tank, Dash Rail".

I drooled over the Rhino speedster that is one I would love to own. I would love to even try and make one but have absolutely no clue where to begin. Outside of winning the lottery.

The Italian bodied ford just sold at Dragone's fall auction last weekend for $330k. Nice car but lots of big iron available for that kind of dough!
