Default Steering Wheel

I purchased this steering wheel at a garage sale yesterday thinking it is a model a wheel, was I correct!!!

Yes. But all steering wheels are not the same. The hub is 'site specific' to the matching steering column (sp?) shaft / steering box. Yours is for the later 2-tooth steering sector, with it's keyed slot at the top mounting of the shaft.
