Default Strength Of Aluminum Spare Tire Mount

I have a cast aluminum spare tire mount for the back of my 30 tudor that I have not yet installed. I was wondering how they hold up, since they are not steel like the originals. Anyone have experience useing one of these? Thanks.

I've been running an aluminum mount on my 31 roadster for about 6-7 years now. Carries a 35 wheel and 6.50 tire. No problems.

Not to worry. Cast aluminum ought to hold up a tiny tiny wheel that is subject to road bumps and rash. I figure what it's bolted to will break off first.
