Default Stolen Truck Found in Portland

This is a follow-on thread to my earlier post on my truck and trailer stolen on the way to Wenatchee. The Portland police found my truck in Portland and now I need to ship it back to my home in San Jose. It is not in running condition. I would appreciate any recommendations on shipping companies. Tks, Jim in San Jose.

Wow, glad they at least found it, I figured it was already south of the U S A border by now!!! Good luck on getting it back home......ARE there any used car auctions up that way. I know there are two big ones south of me that get attended by dealers all over Florida Georgia and Even So Car. There are always "several" haulers at the auctions that "might" could haul your truck along with other vehicles going your way. Do you know anyone in the Used car business to ask??? OR maybe someone in Portland might assist with getting it looked at up there to see IF it could be repaired to drive it back??? I know I would help someone in that kind of need on that end of the spectrum.

Good luck

I would entertain the idea of helping with this. Is it still a 'roller' and relatively easily loaded on a trailer? Portland to San Jose is not that big of a deal to me. I have previously hauled two cars from Portland, south, for my kids. One of my family will be in Portland this coming weekend, and could take a peek for evaluation. Just a thought... (Is there a reason for YOU not doing this?)

Does your insurance company have any suggestions or are you own your own?

Call Memory Lane Motors in Portland and talk with Dale Matthews. He's a classic car dealer and V-8 Club member. He often ships vehicles. He may have a recommendation. Call 503-231-1940

if around 200 miles or less, AAA.
Takes 1 week to initiate.

Many on here complain about their service. I have found them invaluable over the yrs, whether I get to use them or just have them for insurance.
