45 Ford Choke and Throttle linkage help
Hi guys,
I’m attempting to put my choke and throttle (C/T) back to the carburetor. But, I can’t seem to remember how to connect the (C/T) arm and knobs back thru the dash, thru the fire wall. I have 4 books and none explained it, parts sites don’t pull up (C/T) linkage, I found a (C/T) cable at Joe’s, I just don’t know if I need linkage or a cable and some kind of connectors and none have pictures. Ugh… and I’m a visual kind of guy! I found the linkage picture I took early on.

Re: 45 Ford Choke and Throttle linkage help
Based on the photo you added, the linkage shown would attach directly to the carburetor choke and throttle lever balls.

Re: 45 Ford Choke and Throttle linkage help
Thanks, I’m looking forward the linkage one piece for the choke and the throttle. Joe’s might have a solution for me so I’m gonna give that a shot.

If you had the carb in place (a 94) it should be obvious where the rods attach. Mart. |
