I am sure he can. But, so can I.
I am not interested in any way hijacking this thread so I am only going to point to my signature once.

Re: 1929 Ford Coupe - Rusty to Solid
thanks folks!!
one of the biggest PAINS in putting together is this panel. its a horrible fit from the get go . the "new bracing" is dreadful . notice the giant twist the orig panel was pretty . i transferred the orig bracing to the new skin . it fit alot better after that

There appears to be something like a "T" molding that runs down the back on each side of that panel from the top area. Is this something that is replaceable? If so, where could I find some??? Thanks

What you are doing and have is a tallent that probably 99% of us on this fourm could not do ourselves without screwing something up. What is the WORST job that you can remember in doing this kind of art and were you able to get it done or did you give up (which I do not think you are the kind of person to do). Thanks for sharing your work with us! Pluck |

Re: 1929 Ford Coupe - Rusty to Solid
thanks alot steve!!
the worst job had to the 55 caddy as a whole . everything was hand made except the rocker panels . scoops ,chopped, and rust repair custom back window .chopped stainless etc !! if your interested in the whole thread i can point you in its direction thanks Tommy!! now back to old Fords!! got the back panel all tied together today and primed since it would be a bear to do with it all together . tomorrow I get to tackle this which i doubt is going to be any fun either .

Also with the work to be done on the subrails it could have gone wrong very fast and folded like a house of cards. If the car was going to get finished I needed help to get it done. These days I can only get a few hours a week to devote to it and often when I finish my 120 mile commute each day I'm far too spent to head for the shop. Tom is several hundred miles from me and having him post progress pictures helps me see the work he is doing and to know that its in capable hands and progressing is a load off my mind. With all the stress of the last year being out of work for a while, moving my father-in-law to a nursing facility, we didn't need another worry wondering if we made the right choice in sending it to Tom.
