Not to hijack this thread but years ago I used up quite a few gallons of OXI-SOLVE that Eastwood use to sell in the 1990's. There was also a vendor out of, I want to say Michigan, that sold it at the Iola, WI show.

My experience was that OXI-SOLVE was the best product out there. I've tried a lot of other products since then, including Evapo-rust, but it seems that I do not get the same results.

Anybody remember the product or can anyone comment as to why it's no longer available and what made that brand different? Thanks.

Amazing what a difference a punctuation mark can make. Evapo-rust is sold at all the auto parts stores, and Evaporust it seems is available only on the internet.

kind of like Lets eat Grandma

Lets eat, Grandma

What a difference a comma can make.

Hey Al,
Eastwood is still in business. Maybe direct contact would get you some answers. I've never heard and / or used that product. I've used Eastwood products for many years, some good results. Would be interested to know if you locate this OXI-SOLVE again !

BTW...I've bought evaporust from Harbor Freight lately, if you are looking for source.

Anyway www.evaporust.com has a engine coolant version for use in engines. http://www.orisonmarketing.com/ercsc.html
Mike You Might Be Right About Repacking Or Partnership
