The Williamsburg Barner’s Bash is May 19-22 and I’m using the 39th Colonial Williamsburg Rod Run, hosted by the Tidewater Street Rod Association, as a backdrop.

The link to the Tidewater Street Rod Assoc. Colonial Williamsburg website with rod run registration form is (folks need to sign up for the rod run):

http://www.tsra-va.com/registration.shtml

Tentative Schedule is as follows and is subject to change as we are trying to include a few more local “garage” stops:

Thursday

Arrive at 2 PM – get signed up at your hotels
4PM – small cruise throughout town, ending up a Pierce’s BBQ for dinner
Afterwards, over to my place for an open house/garage night

Friday

We leave after b-fast (on your own) to go to Cecil Profitt’s place – restorer, museum, supposed to be pretty cool
Lunch – TBD
Cruise back over to the show – sign up, relax a bit
Dinner at the show for show registrants
Colonial Williamsburg Cruise, ending up at Bruster’s ice cream for “dessert”
Go Kart Racing afterwards for those so inclined

Saturday

Hang out at the show where there are kids and adult games, poker run, free shuttle to all the local attractions for everyone, food is on site (or we can do a late “tailgate” pizza party).
After the awards ceremony, dinner together or separately (depending on the pizza party or not) and we just relax and chill out

Sunday AM

After b-fast, cruise down Rt 5 and on over to Buster’s for a brunch/lunch, which is on everyone’s way home.

The food places I’ve outlined have very reasonable prices and there are many, many other hotels one can use vs using the hotels listed in the rod run application.

Hope you can join us for another Barner’s Blast in Williamsburg.
