Default (Still) another fuel question

I'm running two new Edelbrock 94s on my recently rebuilt but as yet unstarted FH. When I energise the electric fuel pump it shows about one pound of pressure on the fuel pressure regulator guage. However, the fuel pump never shuts off. At first I thought it was filling up the carb bowls, but when I looked down the top of the carb I could see a steady drip of gas running inside the carb. Any idea what is going on here?

oB,
Carefully remove the air horns and turn them upside down. With
the gasket removed check the float setting. From the top of the float to
the gasket face of the air horn ( with the gasket removed) you should have
1 3/8".
Also look for any speck of dirt between the needle and seat. IF
these carbs have the new style flat fiber disc in place of the more con-
ventional needle and seat in my opinion that's not so good....I've tried
'em and they never tested real good for me.
