Default Hewitt, New Jersey

Anyone near Hewitt, New Jersey that might be able to get and hold a small 4 cyl motor that's apart. Hold it until I can get a shipper to get it. It's not a 100% done deal yet, just trying to get everything together and see if it's feasible.

Thanks

You are not very clear on what you want but I have a small 4 cyl motor. It is the first motor Ford used in their First Pinto, the one with push rod overhead valves. I think the English used them first. The trouble is I am in Millersport Ohio but only 3 miles South of interstate 70.

I'm near Hewitt and could hold it for you. No way to crate it though.

I re read my post and it does sound a little off...sorry. I was looking for some real close to pick it up and hold onto it until I could get a HAMB/Fordbarn transporter, but it looks like none of them will be going that way for a little while. It's an off topic motor (turbo pinto) and in pieces. The Ebayer said he could take it to UPS but for them to crate it and ship it would be way more then the purchase price. I think it's going to be a dead end.

Keith the motor you have is a 1.6 liter "Kent" pinto motor. They still use that in Formula Ford racing.
