I'd put a couple of generous coats of Thompson's water seal on it........
I like my garage floors to look rustic & natural, not like they belong in a hair salon ;-)

Just built a shed similar to the one here. I put 2x10 planks down for the car to run in/out and rest on. The rest of the floor is covered with cardboard from refrigerator/washer/drier shipping boxes. Easy to replace a section, easy on the feet and easy to lie on and kneel on. Absorbs drips well and protects the floor. AND, it is very low cost( if any).

I would consider having a concrete slab poured. The cost may be comparable to adding all new 3/4 inch plywood, coatings and coverings. Plus your still stuck with a less than desirable floor.

My friend built a double garage, so the two halves bolt together, just in case the city told him he had to remove it. He used 2 x 8's for the floor and it's a very nice dry garage. I don't know if he laid down plastic over the dirt, but I certainly would. If I remember correctly he said he laid the planks on top of treated 4 x 4's.

Hi Stan, (29 Cabriolet) I built a 10' x 16' storage shed that I had a Model a coupe in that was made out of 1" native pine with a 1"pine floor. I put 1x12 pine boards over the floor and drove the car up on them. I had no finish on the floor or the boards and they have held up well. The shed rests on 8 leveled cement blocks that sit on 6" of crushed stone. the floor itself is nailed in place over 2x6 rough cut pine on 16" centers and between the cement blocks and the floor joists are (3) 4x4 pt lengthwise stringers. A double door is on one end and a sloped pt ramp goes up to the double doors. The shed has been standing for 12 years with no sign of deterioration. Don't forget to make the door opening high enough to clear your Cabriolet top. Good luck with your project. Barry

I used commercial grade epoxy paint that I got from where I work, an industrial machine shop, it holds up very well. Way better than any of the "Garage Kits" or Home Depot types.
Would have cost me $120.00 retail, I got it for less than half of that from work.
Did my 24 x 30 and still have some left over.
Do it yourself, it's inexpensive and you can't go wrong.

I'd add the second layer of 3/4 plywood and coat it with Tompsons water seal. Bob
