Yes on the DE, it also kills fleas on pets. HOWEVER, Not the stuff from Pool Stores. It is a different grind. You want Food Grade DE. Tractor supply sells it in their Horse Feed section. Very fine grind. Yes food Grade because it is actually edible and used by food processors as an anti-caking agent and to keep beetles out of flour.
