Default Re: Are you a Purist or a Realist?

I'm a realist. I built my first 32 Ford 42 years ago as a highboy roadster. Realized that if the hobby was going to be enjoyable for me HotRods were the road I would take. I have nothing but admiration for you guys that have the patience to do all the little things that it takes to restore a car to original. I have always taken the deuces I've built to the highest level I could afford. Those of you that know me know I've been a perfectionist since the beginning. I have finally reached the point in life that I can keep what I build but a lot of 32s have went out of the driveway for others to enjoy. There's still great satisfaction in seeing a vision take shape whether it's a HotRod or restoration.
