Default 1929 Tie Rod removal

What is the best way to remove the Tie Rod (Ends) from the Tie Rod Balls? I have removed the screws in the Tie Rod Ends. Any suggestion welcome!

If the balls and springs are in good shape they might take a bit of prying to remove. Hit from beneath with a dead blow hammer, get in there with a pry bar.

I just rebuilt my front end and with fresh parts it took a few good whacks with a dead blow hammer to fit the tie rod ends over the balls.
