Re: My New Project! CCPU
The weather is finally warming up! I was able to test my paint on the radiator shell. Turned out nice! Hopefully I'll be able to spray the cab in the next few weeks.

Re: My New Project! CCPU
I'm still plugging away on paint work. I've got quite a bit done but still a long way to go. I painted the cab last weekend. I've driven the chassis around the yard a few times now as well.

Re: My New Project! CCPU
Looks very nice.
Is that the later style steering wheel painted red? It looks like a large hub on it. Actually they are closer to brown, and that's the color Ford called them. |

Re: My New Project! CCPU
Good eye Tom! Yes, it is a later wheel. I won't be keeping it on permanently. It was just on old cracked/broken wheel I had laying around and I filled the broken out areas with filler and sprayed it with red primer so I could drive the chassis around.
