Default Speedway Motors museum

The museum has the "Speedster Reunion" coming up in June. It has a great tour, two dinners, a time on a nearby dyno, and best of all, free run of the museum. Visit their web site, https://www.museumofamericanspeed.com/ for more info. If you are a car guy, be there!

Jim, how many A engines are in the museum? I don't think I can count that high.

Derek, great, see you there.

noboD, too many to count, and overheads that many have not heard of!

Been there twice, maybe again this year. I'd love to hear the one with ball bearings in the tubes that act to open the valves. And the 1908? rotary valve four cylinder.

Unfortunately most of their engines don't run, they are display only. There were some strange ideas back in the day!

The Akron heads actually run ok- had a friend who had a running one and the trick was to keep the tubes well greased.
