Default 1930 Todor emergency brake cross shaft

I own a 1930 Tudor . It was made in August. The emergency brake cross shaft sets between the frame rails. In the red book it says there should be a grease zert on the outside of the frame rail on each side of the cross shaft. But there isn't. There isn't even a hole for one. Has anyone seen this before?

The brake shaft change that you have was made in May 1930. Your August build would have the cross shaft you described. That style did not have grease fitting.
