Default 1935 Horn Rod

After looking for over a year plus I finally found a near perfect 1935 horn button and rod....when I got it it was bent and mangled so badly that I do not think it can be ever straightened,.. it actually got corkscrewed. I was soooo bummed! Does anyone sell the rod with the proper crimp at the end and slot for the c clip? It doesn't look that hard to farbricate...but where would one get the rod? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated....as always thank you .......Matt in Alameda

To my knowledge no one repos the tube. You will have to make your own. You may be able to use each end. A 14 ga. wire goes down the tube so there is room to put a sleeve inside each end so you can attach a new tube.
