Either you got a pinhole in the diaf or you have a leaky valve in the pump. Some glass bowl pumps can and should be rebuilt not buy new China made ones which are junk as far as im concerned.Charlie stevens on here or chevy barn has a pic up there of 1 that can be done.Split it and take a look. This is i assume is a single action one.ken ct.

i think its on multiple spots. one where the fuel line connects to the pump, then to the carb. another one where the diaphram is. (maybe)

You may need new lines to pump from fire wall short flex line, fittings may not be sealing anymore and one from pump to carb.If diaf. in pump is leaking you need it rebuilt. Call John Plaskan 1-813-713-5820. I dont do dual actions. ken ct.

Whenever I've had leaks like you've described I've always been able to stop them by tightening the fittings and the screws around the top of the fuel pump. If you haven't done that yet it may be a quick fix.
