Default Window Channel Size

I measured the trough in the door to get a bead on the diamentions of the window channel ford used in the 35-37 pickup door.
I would like to confirm this with another restorer who has replaced the channels or has a kit on the shelf.

I have - 5/8 wide x 1/2” tall..
The style pictured U-45983-7 in the photo looks correct.

First, be wary, 1935 and 1937 use different window felt. Both use a channel similar to the -5 for part of the felt BUT there is deeper channel that is used on the upper rear and lower front (on the 1936-37, I dont have a 1935-36 kit to compare). If you have a stock regulator and want the window to have the vent feature as original you will need to have the correct kit for your truck with the deeper stock type channels.

Vintique is the manufacturer and they are having supply chain issues... but are getting some kits made but not enough to keep in stock. Order a kit from a good vendor who will keep trying and be patient.
