1932-39 Ford upper spring pad
We're these upper spring pad used on 46 Fords. On 3rd gen site they mentioned 32-39 but when I removed rear end on my 46 it had the pad. Thanks Dave/Green Bay

Yes, through (at least) 1948.

Re: 1932-39 Ford upper spring pad
Dave, Thirty years ago, I replaced my 40 spring pads with a piece of .090 in. thick aluminum. It doesn't hold moisture and doesn't squeak.

Re: 1932-39 Ford upper spring pad
19Fordy- that is a great idea. Both my 40s have NOS pads which seem to be impregnated with something that would resist moisture. If I live long enough (extremely unlikely) to have to replace them, I will consider a piece of aluminum. My wagon won't be judged anymore anyway.
