Folks,
Sorry I have been busy with things and haven't got many pictures loaded. I did take the 32 for a ride tonight. It reminded me of when I was a kid, riding a tractor from one farm to the other at dark, only this was nicer to due to a cab an windows!
It was raining and cool. Awesome ride. Stopped at local gun shop for the owner to look at the 32. He liked it a lot too!.
Hope things are good in Ford land!
I am working on our house to remove all the old vinyl siding, install new construction windows. And reside the house to match the shop. Lots of moves. Plus Ruby the new golden pup is very full of business too! She is doing really good , gaining control over us!
Regards,
Chris

Folks,
If you have had a new pup recently they can be a handfull. This golden pup is smarter than most we have had.

In our small camper:

A shop dog for sure. Johns 42 starting and she has no problem with the growl of the flathead!

Oh yes the house project continues too:

Using the Azack material around the garage doors and framing in the corners at 45 degree to match the rest of the buildings:

Sorry we are off topic with these items.
I did get the windlace material for the 32 door jambs. Have to get that installed too. And where is that engine at that has been reworked? Need to call on that! Sure would like to put a few more smiles per mile on the truck this fall. Several fairs and parades too.
Regards.
Chris

Chris

Folks,
John's work on his lights prompted me to work on the low beam problem on the 32 also. I found that there had been a short in the connection on the back of the quartz bulb.
Yea these are not close to stock Ford parts. But the fix was easy with a new plug from NAPA. All back together and works fine. Hope to take the ragged old truck to a couple more shows. Machine shop was resizing, tuning, the crank dimension.
We are in rain delay on my 40 year old house restoration project.
Regards,
Chris

Wow! lots of things happening with cars and trucks on the Ford Barn!
I have heard only peepers from my shop that is tuning up the 32 engine for the dump truck. Guess we will have to use the truck as is for the local fair display and parade a week from now.
Have been working on the exterior house/gagage project along with car shows and tractor pulls. Rain delay today, so some time for the computer catchup and then off to make maple products.
Hope things are good in Ford Land.
Some pictures to get things up to date too. (off topic)
Like a auto restoration project things have to get messy befor they get better. New windows and siding on the 40 year old house. Will see how this turns out.

Ruby and I taking a neede break in the yard:

Our Allis tractors in line after making weight:

Grandson Nic's WD (I borrowed for the evening) Pulled good on the hard track, placed 6th out of 15 in 3500 lb class:

My WD45 pulled in 4000 lb class and placed first ahead of 15 tractors. My friend Josh on the 45, he is a IH guy so he wasnt real happy with me getting a picture of him on a Orange unit!

Regards,
Chris

Tractors are like flatheads, you can't have too many.

Yes I have a tractor problem. I have six large antique tractors. And several smaller cub cadets, a small Massey, and a small Ford lawn tractor.
At our local fair with the 32 today.

Chris

Mark, Folks,
Was in rain delay as I preped the 32 for the trip to the Albion fair. The "biggest little fair" around!

At the fair. many comments about the 32 and it having its own tent too! Visited with a lot of folks.

This is a tractor I used to own too. A International TD6.

Tractor pulls tomorrow and Saturday. They have a good "power track" at this pull. Should be fun. Kids and grandkids are coming in for the fair and to visit also.
Hope things are good in Ford land.
Regards,
Chris

I used to go to the Bennington VT car show every year, huge show with a tractor pull section, everything from kids on lawn tractors to giant eight wheeled tractors, sadly the organizers couldn’t agree and it ended after 49 years. I don’t think I’ve seen tractor pulls advertised at any of the fairs around me this year.

We have several tractor pulls at each fair around here. Usually Farm Stock event and antique tractor pulls. This Albion fair also has a pull tomorrow morning on concrete with tractors pulling a weighted stone boat. We will pull in the 3500 lb class and the 5000 lb class.
Here are a couple of my " fat bottom girls" at pull last saturday In Waterford PA:
The painted WD45 is set up for the 4000 lb class. The WZ in its work clothes is ready for the 5000 lb class.

Sorry for the OT items. Just what I do!
Rergards,
Chris

Bobby,
Awesome pictures of your pups! The one on ther left in the second picture looks just like our Maggie dog. Our new Ruby continues to be a pup but grows up a little every day too.
Thanks for these pictures! You have some good helpers!

Chris

The one on the left is my oldest, Cooper. He is the best dog I have ever had. He is 9. The one on the right is Oliver, the most loving and caring....his philosophy in life is "I love everybody and you are NEXT!!!" The "girl" is the smallest of the three and our "pandemic" puppy, she just turned 2. It is ALL about her, just ask her......She is super loving too!!!!

Folks,
The Albion fair came to a close Saturday. We entered the parade with the 32 truck for our hobby business:

Our grandson Nic had his work truck and float right behind me too. The family must have passed out $200 worth of candy! We had a great time.

Great grand kids on the float:

Some of the girls and guys of Casbohm Electric:

Chris

Humm, Well I bought a Allis CA yesterday. A smaller Allis-Chalmers tractor. It will be changed a litte and then used for tractor pulls in the lighter classes such as 2500 and 3,000 lb.

These toys are not super expensive. Old tractors are all over the place. This one the owner, about my age, is getting out of the pulling hobby due to health reasons.
Jack and the CA:

So I wont have to do a lot to have this ready for the Oct 8 pull at our tractor club.

The tires (if in good shape) on these old tractors are worth about the same as the entire tractor. This one has Firestone 12.4-24 rears.

I do need to call and see how the engine for the 32 is progressing! Its been a year!
Regards,
Chris
