Default A Truly Talented Ford Guy

Today I spent some time with a truy talented Ford man. I met him at a car show about three-four years ago and he had a 1938 Ford coupe with a Columbia Overdrive that he drove all over the country. We talked but I never fully knew just how talented this man is. Today my wife and I visited him as he had some parts I needed and I had an engine he wanted. He has the most unique shop I have ever seen. It is a three story brick building that was once a feed store. He has all kinds of storage rooms and lots of flathead V-8 goodies and some neat old cars. He is one of these individuals that does it all. Mechanical work, machine work, body work and paint. I’ll start with the cars:

1953 Convertible

1951 Victoria

1947 Convertible under going restoration.

1940? Lincoln Coupe Waiting It's Turn

1938 Coupe

`38 Coupe Engine

This was his first attempt at building a street rod several years ago. It has a SBC in it. When I asked why a Chevy he laughed and said it is getting a flathead as soon as he gets some other projects done.

He is working on a fuel injection unit for a flathead and nearly has it done. Wait until you see it. He is one unique talented individual!

A truly talented fellow - with apparently good cash flow. Very nice collection.

It's great to know there are people out there that not only have the talent, but also the means to do this quality restoration work.
