36 model 68 heads alu or cast iron?
Was 36 like 35 alu. Heads passenger cast iron on comericial? Thanks, Phil

36 passenger cars continued to use aluminum heads, but commercial vehicles like the pickup and panel delivery used cast iron heads.

Your cast iron heads are not original. In 1936, as Don Rogers has stated previously, utilized only aluminum heads on the passenger cars.

very large pours. They get saturated with water and become leaky and get kind of soft and leak. I have one right now I'm working on. I keep the old aluminum heads but replace them with steel ones painted aluminum. G.M.
