Default 1931 sedan accident

A friend of mine is looking for a left rear fender after a car ran a stop sign and crashed into his model a. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Craigs list, swap meets, ask at your local club, put an ad in the The Swap Meet on the Barn, put an ad in Hemmings, put an add in the Model A magazines. Or bang out the crumpled fender.

It is sad to hear of any damage to a Model A. I hope your friend is not hurt.

Berts or Arizona Model A might have what he needs.

My cars driver side was smashed and I wanted to keep the fenders that came with the car. I was told they couldn't be repaired and to use reproductions.
Apparently reproductions needed a lot of work to correctly fit and original would be a better choice.
I wanted to have mine repaired and finally found someone that could do it. It was interesting to hear this guy talk about what it required and it put me at ease with his confidence.
With one fender banged out, as he put it, I checked it out on the bench. To my surprise it was perfect. He noticed me grab one edge and he smiled and said I remember what you told me. He kept the knurled edge as it was from the original wiring process.
It seemed he had done this for sixty years but was only in his early fifties. Learning at his side was a man in his twenties.
Apparently we still have hope for the future!
Good luck with your friends repairs!

I think I have a spare left rear sedan fender. Not perfect but should work, PM me if you want to talk.

Brattons reproduction fenders look and fit well with very little tweaking, if you can't find an original. I just finished installing one recently.

Can I ask a question?
What insurance did your friend have on his A?
Did the other guy have insurance?
I have Hagardys insurance, just wondering how he is navigating the issue
